To date we’ve been told that 9 John Street was once a Job Centre, a Dentist
and a school stationery distribution centre, known as the “Pen” but we’re
sure this list is not the whole story – if you know more send us an email!
We converted the building into a Bar in March 2005 after it had been left
empty for 13 years.
The Manager and Head Chef, is Russell Brookman.
Although we do not have any immediate parking, Stroud’s multi-storey carpark
is available and is less than a 100 yards away in London
Road.
